Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the position.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all slot machines and related equipment.
  • Safeguard all assigned areas.
  • Perform all slot moves and changes as directed.
  • Ensure that all gaming devices are in proper working order.
  • Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Perform any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
  • Electronic or mechanical background preferred; minimum of 2 years slot experience (Slot, video machines, and associated signage).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, using hands, and lifting/moving up to 100 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a casino or gaming environment.
  • Familiarity with gaming laws and regulations.
