About The Position

The Slot Tech is responsible to monitor the performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of casino gaming areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and in good repair. Ensure compliance with approved procedures for the slot areas in a professional manner. The Slot Tech is a first level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience at a gaming device. Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance to include Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and the Responsible Gaming Plan. The Slot Tech is responsible for providing Hometown Hospitality and delivering Fun. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive: 1. Responsible for guest service with energy and professionalism, providing Hometown Hospitality and delivering Fun. 2. Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines. 3. Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks. 4. Configures slot and video machines to meet manufacturers and regulatory agency specifications. 5. Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades slot machines. 6. Maintains an inventory of parts for the slot machines. 7. Monitors and tracks the slot machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved. 8. Tracks and records all test money usage and testing results. 9. Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers play. 10. Maintains a clean and safe environment. 11. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 12. Effectively handles customer concerns and requests. 13. Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times. 14. Acts in the capacity of other positions on an as needed basis. 15. Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. 16. Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress.
  • Must be flexible with all different schedules.
  • Days-off and shift may be subject to change during employment dependent on company need.
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed.
  • This position spends majority of the shift on the casino floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise levels, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • Ability to: read, analyze, interpret and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, business periodicals, instructions, and correspondence/memos.
  • Maintain confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
