About The Position

Repair and maintain Slot machines. Promote positive patron relations. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years or more of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Formal electronics training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of slot machines.
  • Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Responsible for being gracious to all guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

  • Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to climb or balance.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Requires access to all general areas of the gaming facility, and sensitive areas of the slots department.
  • Requires access to slot operations technical information and slot machine calibration.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal electronics training preferred.
