About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for contributing to the entertaining atmosphere at Belterra Park by greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly manner, and providing information regarding Belterra Park. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Delivers superior internal and external guest service the Boyd Gaming and works harmoniously with fellow team members Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers. Pays and verifies jackpots on slot machines according to established procedures. Proactively promotes the Players Club card program; understands current card benefits and information and presents program to customers. Communicates all customer service issues to key personnel. Accurately maintains money flow during shift with customers and employees. Accurately performs customer transactions. Assists in training new personnel and customer trainees as needed. Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are achieved and customer requests are addressed and resolved

Requirements

• Superior customer service, communication, and employee interaction skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• Money-handling and change-making skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• These skills and abilities are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training in a similar field or through related experience.

• This position spends majority of shift on the gaming floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
• Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• Machines and equipment used, but not limited to, include computers, keys, hand cart, hand unit (Section 12), radio, adding machine, and keyboard
