About The Position

The Slot Floor Person is responsible for maintaining the slot area, ensuring a fun and engaging environment for guests while providing excellent customer service. This role involves monitoring slot machine activity, performing routine machine repairs, and assisting guests with currency exchanges and promotions. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with team members to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a casino or gaming environment.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain slot area by supplying general supplies to the slot team members.
  • Exchange currency for guests.
  • Monitor slot machine activity.
  • Perform routine machine repairs and service, including jackpot and ticket fill process and responding to change lights.
  • Print replacement and issue new Penn Play cards.
  • Be knowledgeable of all special events and promotions available to customers.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Wear a 2-way communication radio and multitask with several radio calls.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Initiate conversations and create a fun environment with guests.
  • Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management.
  • Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
