About The Position

As a guest Services Attendant, you will monitor the performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions of casino slot areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and identified for repair as necessary. You are the Live! first-level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience. This position is responsible for aiding players, paying out jackpots, and exchanging currency. The team member provides players with instructions regarding all slot games as well as maintains and communicates general information about the casino. Earning potential: $9.00/hr + tips = $19.01/hr on average! Open Availability Needed.

  • Ability to:
  • Read simple instructions.
  • Perform some troubleshooting.
  • Complete slot-related paperwork with a minimum of errors.
  • Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Zero to two (2) years of casino slot or direct guest service experience.
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
  • Ability to:
  • Stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
  • Handle multi-tasking heavy, work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
  • Use near vision, see details at close range.
  • Frequent standing/walking.
  • Lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs.
  • Repetitive use of both hands to include light and firm grasping and finger dexterity.
  • Use of stairs and elevators

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that players have a positive experience by:
  • Providing the highest level of friendly guest service.
  • Resolving any issues they may have with the machine, such as payment problems or technical difficulties.
  • Collecting jackpots when they occur and helping players who have questions about their winnings
  • Explaining the rules of each game and providing instructions on how to play
  • Ensuring that all slot machines are working properly and are always available for play.
  • Handling any customer service issues that may arise including answering questions about game rules, payouts, and other topics related to slot machines
  • Responsible to take beverage orders from guests and serve those orders accurately and in an expeditious manner.
  • Maintaining knowledge of products available for purchase, events and other casino offerings.
