About The Position
Associates in the Slitter Operator position are responsible for Operating a high-speed, Wide-Web, Slitter/Rewind to produce quality flexible packaging materials on time in accordance with specific work instructions and applicable safety and quality control procedures. Requirements
- Experience as a machine or equipment operator preferred (we will train the right candidate)
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment

- Experience with preventive maintenance or quality checks

Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to produce high-quality products
- Perform setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
- Conduct quality checks and accurately complete production documentation
- Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures
- Work closely with teammates, maintenance, and supervisors to meet production goals
- Help identify improvements to make processes safer and more efficient
