Additionally, the operator is responsible for ensuring that the crew is working towards optimum productivity and waste reduction capabilities. Communication with the Shift Supervisor is crucial upon the completion of scheduled work, and the operator must monitor any deviations in materials and running conditions, making necessary corrections with crew assistance and reporting these deviations to the appropriate supervisor. Safety and environmental standards are paramount, and the operator must ensure that the crew adheres to these regulations. The role may also involve other duties as assigned, including assisting in preparation and packaging tasks.
