Qualified candidates should have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred
  • Internal Candidates: Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher
  • No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past 120 days
  • Must be in current position for at least 120 days.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare master rolls for slitting
  • Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing
  • Properly segregate and label all materials
  • Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations
  • Communicate orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information
  • Ability to troubleshoot if needed
  • Understand and follow Food Safety GMPs
