About The Position
The Slitter Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the Slitter in accordance with Printpack Safety and Quality standards. This role includes following all Printpack Safety policies, operating every job with a Quality mindset, and maintaining accurate production reports and job jackets to ensure traceability. The operator must maintain a clean and safe working area, complete housekeeping tasks, and perform inspections. Additionally, the operator will troubleshoot issues on the slitter and ensure proper handling of materials. The Press Operator is also responsible for mounting and proofing flexo printing plates, mixing inks, and ensuring that printing specifications are met. Both positions require the ability to operate industrial floor scales and maintain cleanliness in hazardous waste areas.
