About The Position

Operates, maintains, and controls the production equipment and process on the production floor to produce a high-quality finished hand wrap or machine wrap roll in a safe and productive manner to efficiently service customer orders by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• Ability to exhibit leadership, reasoning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to perform basic math and computer skills
• Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds independently
• No formal disciplinary action regarding safety or quality in the last 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction during assigned shift to ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment, employees, and materials.
• Supervising, coaching, and training employees.
• Upholding and enforcing company rules.
• Maintaining open communication with both reports and other members of management.
• Strengthen and improve safety in the plant.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• When needed, working in an operator capacity
• Other duties assigned by the Converting Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
