As a Slitter Machine Operator at Packaging Personified, you will play a crucial role in our production process, specifically focusing on the operation of slitting machines for blown film. This position is for the 3rd shift, running from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday. We are looking for individuals who are not only experienced in slitting operations but also eager to work in a steady and reliable environment that promotes growth and learning. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running the slitter according to order specifications, ensuring that production runs at maximum rates while adhering to quality restrictions. You will also be tasked with performing required preventative maintenance on the equipment, weighing and wrapping all finished products, and accurately completing all necessary paperwork related to slitter production. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret safety rules and operating instructions. Your mathematical skills will be essential in computing rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as in measuring and interpreting data effectively.
