About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented machine operator who enjoys problem-solving, working with your hands, and keeping production running smoothly? Novacel is hiring a Slitter/Finishing Operator to support the manufacturing of high-quality processing films, protective films, and technical tapes/papers. In this role, your skill in machine operation, maintenance, and quality control directly contributes to our production success. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of machine operator experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read work orders/specs accurately
Strong attention to detail; ability to neatly and accurately record production data
Problem-solving and analytical capability in a team environment
Math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
Communication: collaborate effectively across multiple shifts
Stamina: standing, walking, repetitive motion; frequent lifting 50–75 lbs; bending, climbing, heights, etc
Flexibility: ability to work varying shift lengths (8–12 hours) and occasional weekends
Time Management: stay focused, prioritize tasks, and maintain steady productivity
