About The Position

Gossner Foods is a growing family business with three dynamic locations across the western United States, boasting over 120 years of cheese-making expertise. The company is a leader in the dairy industry, producing over 30 varieties of cheese and UHT shelf-stable milk. As a Slice line Operator on Line 7, you will be an integral part of this team, responsible for loading cheese, maintaining accurate records, operating and performing minor maintenance on equipment, and communicating with the line lead. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a tradition of excellence and innovation in the dairy industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Will be required to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally

Nice To Haves

• 1-2+ years experience in manufacturing environment or production

Responsibilities

• Load smaller loafs of cheese into conveyor belt
• Keep accurate records
• Learn and be familiar with equipment
• Communicate with the line lead
• Pay attention to detail
• Do changeovers in a timely manner
• Perform minor maintenance and upkeep on line equipment
