Responsibilities Works under general supervision performs polysomnography acquisitions, CPap/Oxygen titrations, and scoring sleep studies. Performs procedures independently in addition to general cleaning and maintenance of related equipment Qualifications Requires RPSGT certification BLS required Work requires the ability to read, write, and follow complicated medical instructions This level of education is normally obtained through completion of an accredited school in sleep Work also requires a thorough understanding of sleep procedures and equipment used which is normally acquired through completion of an accredited (AMA) school in sleep, A.A.R.C. approved respiratory school or its equivalency The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
