This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. Full time: 3 – 12 hr shifts per week (0.9 FTE) Nights: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am Limited weekends No holidays Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a polysomnographic technician role
  • Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of an accredited or approved program preferred
  • BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or National Safety Council required
  • License Respiratory Care Practitioner (28) - State of Wisconsin
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) issued by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
  • Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification issued by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare
  • Possess adequate time management skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers
  • Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision
