This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. Full time: 3 – 12 hr shifts per week (0.9 FTE) Nights: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am Limited weekends No holidays Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in a polysomnographic technician role Education: Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of an accredited or approved program preferred Licenses and Certifications: BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or National Safety Council required. And one of the following: License Respiratory Care Practitioner (28) - State of Wisconsin Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) issued by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification issued by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic computer skills. Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare. Possess adequate time management skills. Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a polysomnographic technician role
  • Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of an accredited or approved program preferred
