About The Position

Interact with patients referred to the Sleep Disorders Center lab. Prepare and calibrate equipment, maintain devices, and troubleshoot issues during testing. Resolve data artifacts, analyze recordings accurately and promptly, and uphold professional interactions consistent with hospital core values. Per diem over night shift based on department needs) 7p-7:30a shift Job Description Essential Functions Interact with patients, visitors, and co-workers in a manner consistent with the hospital’s core values. Review patient medical history, allergies, and medications. Set up and calibrate equipment for sleep testing. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed. Accurately identify and resolve issues with laboratory equipment and correct data artifacts during the recording phase. Analyze recorded data promptly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Must have HS diploma\ or equivalent
  • 3+ years in healthcare environment preferred
  • Must have BLS - CPR required
  • PSG registration (or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Independent worker
  • Works well in team environment
  • Accountable
