About The Position

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible S leep Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor Rank on an academic or clinician track (track to be determined by qualification and interest). In addition to serving as a pioneer in many areas of modern Otolaryngology, our program is a national leader in clinical care, research excellence and the education of residents, fellows and medical students. Position Highlights: Well-established Otolaryngology team of more than 50 physicians dedicated to the highest quality of patient care. Team offering broad sub-specialty expertise in all areas of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Practice the full spectrum of management for sleep apnea, snoring and related disorders. Numerous opportunities to be heavily involved in educational and research missions. Practice settings include both tertiary and community sites in Minneapolis-Saint Paul – a large metropolitan area with over 3 million people. About the Department: The University of Minnesota Department Of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery has more than 120 years of history of treating patients, conducting research, and educating the next generation of otolaryngologists. The department is home to more than 50 physicians providing the latest in patient care through the University of Minnesota Physicians – our clinical practice is made up of more than 700 university doctors. Our physicians diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose and throat problems – from the most common to the most complex. Most have special training or conduct research in an area of expertise. As members of the University of Minnesota Medical School community, our physicians regularly collaborate with colleagues in areas like pediatrics and oncology to provide the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options, as well as groundbreaking research opportunities. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology residency and Sleep Surgery fellowship-training program.
  • American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery eligible/certified.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges
  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
