About The Position

The Marketing Rep is responsible for face-to-face sales meetings, establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources including doctors, hospitals, sleep labs skilled nursing, home health and other sources in the medical community, while adhering to all company, accreditation, and HIPAA rules and regulations. General Expectations • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. • Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols. • Comply with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care. • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the Branch and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of sales/marketing degree or clinical.
  • If no degree, then a minimum of three years as a marketing representative in healthcare
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability, confidence and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as deemed necessary
  • Must carry personal liability insurance with a minimum limit of 100,000
  • Courteous Customer Service (internally and externally)
  • Most love helping people (both internally and externally)
  • High level attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Positive influence on all co-workers and referral sources
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is required to sit and stand
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This job requires the ability to drive a car
  • Ability to get around hospitals and MD offices which include several feet to long distances.
  • Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be 21 years of age to comply with company auto insurance regulations

Responsibilities

  • Manage his/her territory to reach revenue and service goals.
  • Educate all customers and referral sources in the HME products and services offered by the Branch.
  • Educate fellow Branch employees on the features and benefits of HME and respiratory equipment as well as applicable safety factors as requested.
  • Maintain rapport with ordering physicians.
  • Provide and assist with training and orientation of new marketing representatives for organization.
  • Ability to cross sale all products that company has focus on: PAP, HST, AAC, PWC and Urology and hit or exceed goals for each product category.
  • Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Promote services and products to all referral sources in the community through direct and ongoing contact. Responsible to call upon all major referral sources on an ongoing basis, at least once a week.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities (if required) during non-business hours in accordance with Company policy as needed for referral sources
  • Ability to procure all necessary documentation to process orders cleanly on the front end.
  • Ability to work all designated spreadsheet weekly to help maintain continuous flow of documentation to help process claims timely.
  • This position will require willingness to assist in other roles and locations occasionally/as needed. This could require duties outside of your normal duties and travel within AND outside of your territory.
