About The Position
The Sleep Center a part of CapitalCare Pulmonary Medicine provides comprehensive evaluation and testing for patients with suspected sleep disorders in a comfortable, patient-focused environment. The facility features four private bedrooms designed to feel more like hotel accommodations than a traditional clinical sleep lab, helping patients feel relaxed during testing. The sleep program works closely with pulmonary specialists to diagnose and manage conditions such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, and other sleep-related disorders. Diagnostic studies may include overnight sleep studies, CPAP studies, daytime nap studies, and home sleep studies using modern digital equipment.
Requirements
- completion of Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- completion of an accredited internship and residency
- an active license to practice medicine in NYS
- Must be currently board certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board or an approved American Osteopathic Association (AOA) specialty board
