About The Position

This position involves practicing according to mandatory requirements and department expectations while maintaining a strong customer service approach in all activities. The role requires effective time management and the ability to utilize both internal and external resources appropriately. The individual will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating medical equipment and instruments, as well as performing tests ordered by the patient's physician. The position also emphasizes addressing the age-specific needs of patients across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Additionally, the role includes performing therapeutic procedures with a focus on patient care, assisting physicians in the Sleep Lab, maintaining equipment, ordering supplies as necessary, and performing administrative tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
  • Current CPR certification

  • Utilizes techniques of time management effectively.
  • Sets up, adjusts and operates medical equipment and instruments.
  • Performs testing ordered by patient's physician.
  • Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures with emphasis on patient care.
  • Assists physicians in Sleep Lab.
  • Maintains equipment and orders supplies as necessary.
  • Performs administrative and other tasks as requested.
