A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and reports directly to the Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. In temporary absence of Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor, assumes responsibility, when requested, for the day-to-day clinical oversight of the Sleep Disorders Center with the assistance of the Medical Director and the administrative assistance of the Pulmonary Services Director.
