The Medical Assistant role will provide professional family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents as delegated the Sleep Lab Clinical and Technical Supervisor and Sleep Technologist which may include the following duties: Escort patients to exam room, obtain height and weight, and appropriately document information. Assist in preparing patients and families for their overnight sleep studies, including Polysomnogram (PSG) hook-ups Stock PSG carts, patient rooms and supply closets Set up and take down patient rooms & support Sleep Center with clerical duties as need Perform laboratory specimen collection and processing to ensure the accurate and appropriate performance of patient testing while maintaining patient dignity, comfort and confidentiality. Learn and apply prescribed clearing and disinfection procedures for patient care equipment.
