About The Position

Labette Health is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our community with compassionate, patient-centered care. Our growing Sleep Lab is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sleep Lab Coordinator to oversee operations while also working hands-on as a Sleep Lab Technician. The Sleep Lab Coordinator provides leadership for the daily operations of the Sleep Lab while performing diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and smooth departmental workflow. The Coordinator will work directly with patients in conducting sleep studies and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.

Requirements

• RPSGT certification preferred or Kansas Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) eligible and willing to enroll/complete a structured step program considered
• BLS Required
• Previous experience in sleep medicine or respiratory therapy strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage departmental operations
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to detail

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of the Sleep Lab
• Perform and score sleep studies in accordance with established standards
• Provide patient education and ensure a safe, comfortable environment during testing
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and records in compliance with accreditation and hospital policy
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other departments on patient care
• Develop schedules, ensure quality metrics are met, and support staff training and development
