As a Sleep Expert at Mattress Firm, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the in-store experience for customers by serving as a trusted authority on sleep. Your primary responsibility will be to offer best-in-class products while executing Mattress Firm's selling programs. You will support a seamless omni-channel experience, creating a compelling and engaging environment that prioritizes the customer. This position is not just about selling mattresses; it's about building relationships and ensuring that every customer finds the perfect sleep solution to improve their quality of life. In this role, you will cultivate strong relationships with customers, providing them with technical and product knowledge to help them make informed decisions. You will be expected to drive individual sales performance and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while embodying the company's values and supporting its initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include executing visual merchandising standards, adhering to company policies regarding appearance and functionality, and maintaining customer relationships throughout the purchasing process. You will be encouraged to seek and accept constructive feedback for continuous personal and professional development. This includes developing your skills and competencies through assigned coursework and training. Additionally, you will need to stay aware of the competition and develop strategies to counter their offerings, leveraging social media to enhance brand awareness and increase sales. The role requires physical capability, as you will need to assist customers with load outs and in-store purchases, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
