About The Position

The Slate CRM Data Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Office of International Programs' mission by ensuring the effective functioning, maintenance, and optimization of systems related to International Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment. This position involves regular system maintenance, data integrity assurance, process automation, and operational reporting to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree including college level course work in statistics and/or mathematics.
• One (1) year of experience working as a Data Consultant 1 or equivalent, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 platforms, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Two (2) years' experience managing/maintaining a system of electronic records or database.
• Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM or similar CRM.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing student services or academic advising to students within an educational institution.
• Experience with international admissions and/or student services.
• Experience using SQL, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
• Experience with a ticketing or project management system like Jira.
• Experience with WSU systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular system maintenance and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Implement new product features and integrate them with other systems.
• Automate processes and develop queries to enhance operational efficiency.
• Generate and analyze operational reports to support decision-making.
• Create and maintain documentation, process diagrams, and standard practices and procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage information related to the regular operations of International Programs' use of Slate.
