Requirements

  • Writing Snowflake standards, policies, and best practices based on industry standards.
  • Familiarity with architecting Snowflake-based solutions at enterprise scale.
  • ETL/ELT integration patterns.
  • Data Security (RBAC, masking, anonymization, OAuth, integration with vaults).
  • Python, SQL.
  • Data governance practices, cataloging, and lineage integration with Collibra.
  • Enabling real-time integration and analytics in Snowflake.
  • Proven expertise in writing Snowflake standards/policies and guidance-based documentation.
  • Snowflake ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AWS native data integration tools and capabilities.
  • Data mesh, data contracts, and data fabric concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in our ecosystem between the target state and current state.
  • Define, document, and publish Snowflake standards, policies, and best practices for Data Integration, Snowflake-based compute optimization and cost governance, Data Sharing, Data Security, Naming Conventions, Schema Design Standards, Operations, Data Governance, Privacy, and Regulatory Requirements, Security and Compliance.
  • Work with Snowflake SMEs to ensure documentation is aligned with company data strategy and industry standards.
