NOTE: This is NOT a Remote position and requires candidates to work on-site at the Dallas, Texas location We are seeking an experienced Skip Tracer that will manage a full queue of assignments. This position is responsible for locating bank & finance customers and vehicles subject to repossession nationwide. This is not a collections or sales job, however, this position does involve outbound phone contact with customers, field contractors and client bank employees. This is solely an office position and not a remote position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
- 1 to 2 years of Automotive Industry, or Collection/Repossession experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and phone skills to give clear and concise direction.
- Experience interacting with business clients via phone/email
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- High level of experience using G-Suite, MS Office and related applications
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, or evaluate information from a variety of sources, such as court records, credit header data, people location software.
- Use various location databases and software packages to locate vehicles subject to repossession (automatic license plate recognition software)
- Work closely with repossession agents to coordinate activities
- Manage the repossession process for bank clients
- Work closely with bank employees
- Perform in depth people/vehicle location searches
- Proactively monitor accounts and address a variety of issues
- Make phone contact with customers, field agents, and while skip tracing
