Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Demonstrate significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Demonstrate a passion for skin care and consultative selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to positively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in the skin category by engaging guests to determine their individual needs.
• Assist guests in the selection and purchase of skin care merchandise.
• Maintain overall store standards, including cleanliness and replenishment.
• Support the Experience Manager through a focus on performance, people, and process.
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales.
• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging every guest.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Perform skincare analysis and product demonstrations with guests.
• Book appointments for services and support the execution of in-store events.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates and guests.
• Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program with guests.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training for continuous professional development.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty's dress code.
• Drive sales by keeping assigned work area replenished and maintained.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards.
• Participate in completing merchandise resets and processing shipments.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices.
