Your Role: Mental Health Technician/Skills Trainer Community/School Based Services: -

Requirements

Meets QMHA minimum qualification -
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field; or
(b) A combination of at least three years relevant work, education, training or experience; and (c) Demonstrate the competency necessary to communicate effectively; understand mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts; provide psychosocial skills development; implement interventions as assigned on an individual plan of care; and provide behavior management and case management duties.

Responsibilities

Builds rapport with clients (children and adolescents), providing daily support, structure, activities, group, and safety.
Provide skills training to clients to help them learn to manage their mental health symptoms in clients' home.
Models, coaches, and counsel's clients regarding appropriate hygiene, and social and interpersonal interactions.
Have a valid Oregon driver's license that meets agency driving requirements and the ability to meet client and families in the community
