About The Position

The Skills Trainer Behavior Modification Specialist position at the Northwest Human Service Center in Williston, ND, is focused on addressing the behavioral health crisis by providing high-quality healthcare services. Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC.
• Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.
• If unable to find fully licensed candidates, consider filling as a Human Relations Counselor with a master's degree in Social Work and LMSW licensure.
• Consider candidates with a master's degree in Counseling and LPC licensure, or LAPC licensure if they are close to obtaining LPCC within two years.
• Licensure as a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) with two years of professional human services work experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis stabilization and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide supportive therapy to mitigate crisis situations.
• Develop safety plans for individuals at risk.
• Assist individuals in obtaining appropriate services, both within and outside the agency.
• Coordinate social detox/crisis residential placements and admissions to the North Dakota State Hospital.
• Provide support to other regions via telehealth platforms.
