About The Position

The Industrial Skills Assessor supports aerospace training and evaluation programs as part of the Instructor Resource Management team. This role is responsible for administering hands-on and theoretical evaluations aligned to aerospace industry standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high level of client service. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with aerospace manufacturing, training, or leadership experience who are detail-oriented and comfortable working in complex industrial environments. This role is well-suited for aerospace professionals who enjoy evaluating technical skills, maintaining high standards, and contributing to workforce readiness in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of training, leadership, or management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software systems
  • Ability to work flexibly across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts
  • Willingness to travel within a geographic area ranging from Everett to Puyallup as needed

Responsibilities

  • Understand and administer complex evaluation systems, both hands-on and theoretical
  • Evaluate aerospace courseware and skills assessments accurately and consistently
  • Manage multiple client evaluations simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in an industrial environment
  • Communicate updates, questions, and issues to management in a timely manner
  • Remain current on aerospace standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to clients and participants
  • Enter grades and attendance with 100% accuracy in required systems
