Requirements

• Experience in pallet repair, construction, or woodworking preferred.
• Familiarity with high-powered saws and general hand tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail when evaluating wood quality and safety risks.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Equivalent experience or training will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle pallets using both hand tools and powered equipment (e.g., saws).
• Operate alongside a team member to ensure consistency and output on production equipment.
• Inspect and maintain dismantling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Evaluate pallet components for reuse based on established quality standards.
• Stack, store, and dispose of pallet parts as appropriate (reusable vs. unusable).
• Achieve or exceed daily production quotas.
• Understand pallet types, components, and grading criteria.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report mechanical, process, or safety issues to site leadership.
• Support teamwork and positive communication with facility staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
