About The Position

American Residential Services is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing more than 7000 professionals across the country. ARS has been serving its customers with HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions for over 45 years since its establishment in 1975. We're a National service company and we're growing. We are seeking a Recruiter to assist us to achieving our needed staffing levels of residential and commercial service employees. Reporting to a TA Manager, the Recruiter will partner with branch, division, and TA leadership to execute short and long-term recruitment strategies to source, engage, and attract top talent. The Recruiter will promote the ARS talent brand, inclusive hiring practices, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3 years’ experience of technical recruiting required
  • A track record of fostering positive recruiting experiences and outcomes for all parties involved (candidate & internal team)
  • Experience with ATS/HRIS systems – iCIMS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Employment laws.
  • Ability to successfully meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Computer literate utilizing Microsoft Office products.
  • > 10% travel may be required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for residential/commercial service or construction sectors is preferred.
  • Exposure to high growth, past paced environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers and TA leadership to execute short and long-term recruitment strategies
  • Actively build and nurture a robust candidate pipeline through professional networking, online resources (social media and job boards), and targeted sourcing strategies and maintain those talent pipelines within ATS and CRM.
  • Post job openings on relevant internal and external platforms
  • Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with hiring managers' requirements through evaluation and screening.
  • Conducts phone interviews to share ARS’s employee value proposition, qualify candidates, and assess fit for open positions
  • Serve as candidate point-of-contact providing "best in class" candidate experience from phone screening, coordination of hiring manager interviews, providing interview feedback, and extending offers
  • Check employment references where necessary.
  • Leverage technology and AI to improve recruiting efficiencies and enhance candidate experience
  • Resume mining and sourcing of passive candidates.
  • Attends and participates in conference calls as invited.
  • Travel to branch hiring events, team meetings, and career fairs
  • Other duties as assigned.
