Basic Function: To assist the plumber in all areas of the trade including, but not limited to, inspecting, repairing, modifying, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drain systems. Assembling and repairing pipe systems of various shapes, sizes and pressures and cleaning blocked drains, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and must pass extensive background check
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb and balance on equipment
Must be able to crawl in tight spaces and bend and stoop around equipment
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
Must have excellent eye sight and depth perception
Must be a US citizen or legal resident alien

Keep work area clean and safe
Adhere to schedule; demonstrate punctuality, dependability, flexibility and adjust to change
Willing to help in emergency situations when not scheduled
Have knowledge of the tools required
Demonstrate courtesy and tactfulness with coworkers and clients, good judgement
Able to read, write, and do basic arithmetic
Demonstrate appropriate personal hygiene and health standards
Have full use of the body and senses to be able to maintain and operate assigned equipment safely
