About The Position

DynaTen (a Comfort Systems USA Company) has been successfully providing Commercial Service and Construction Solutions to the greater North Texas market. DynaTen is seeking a Skilled Trades Coordinator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily department needs and managing the department’s general administrative activities. Provide daily time review of skilled trades for approvals, when approvals are not complete connect with project supervision to complete the approval process. Provide weekly, Monday, final time review, identify discrepancies, and work with Skilled Trades leadership to finalize weekly time for submission to payroll. Manage new hire time sheets for “week one” of employment to ensure time is submitted to payroll. Review skilled trades PTO requests, confirm approval, and ensure it is in WorkDay properly. Manage, track, and maintain all skilled trades training records; safety, CEF, skilled trades technical training, leadership, etc… Track in WorkDay & Open Sesame as required. Manage, track, maintain, and schedule skilled trades training classes for all skilled trades. This includes Safety Training, CEF Apprenticeship, and Manage, track, and maintain all skilled trades license requirements such as state Plumbing license, state Apprentice cards, and Med-Gas endorsements. Track, manage, and review Temporary Labor timesheets weekly with Skilled Trades Leadership Assist with management and tracking of Safety metrics and reporting on Safety platforms. Track all skilled trades workers comp claims to get Safety Management and Skilled Trades leadership apprised of employee progress and potential return to work. Maintain a listing of all project insurance programs such as OCIP, CCIP, LCIP, ACIP, etc… for record submission and compliance requirements. Track, manage, and report weekly driving reports for all company vehicle drivers. Assist with the preparation and presentation of Skilled Trades & Safety Team during all Town Hall Meetings. Additional projects or duties as may arise during the support of the Skilled Trades and Safety Teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role or Project Coordinator at a construction company preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
