About The Position

Stationary Steam Engineers are paid a top hourly base rate of $43.800, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $43.600 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Requirements

• Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship, or 8 years of previous experience, or a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• CFC certification.
• Boiler operating license from their state/municipality.
• Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operation, monitoring, PM and repair of air compressors, combustion equipment, refrigeration equipment and various types of combustion equipment.
• Troubleshooting combustion firing controls, refrigeration equipment and related safety devices.
• Following safety rules and procedures.
• Working in a team environment and treating co-workers with dignity and respect.
• Understanding and following instructions, both oral or in writing.
• Performing tasks of the trade, including standing for extended periods, walking unassisted, working at heights, and manipulating tools typical of the trade.
