About The Position

We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level II – SHOP to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Strengthen workplace safety by identifying hazards early, stopping unsafe work, and consistently following HSE standards and PPE requirements. Protect people and equipment by applying proper protocols when working with electricity and other energy sources, ensuring safe and compliant operations. Elevate product and process quality through precise workmanship, accurate use of technical documentation, and thorough quality inspections. Improve equipment reliability by performing skilled repairs, troubleshooting downtime issues, and contributing to root‑cause and failure‑analysis efforts. Enhance preventive maintenance effectiveness by documenting work clearly and providing valuable feedback to refine maintenance strategies. Support smooth production flow by maintaining an organized workspace, completing housekeeping tasks, and responding quickly to equipment needs. Reduce manufacturing constraints by collaborating with peers to solve problems, streamline processes, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Strengthen team performance by communicating effectively, completing required training, and actively contributing to TPM activities that improve safety, quality, and material flow.
