About The Position

We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding pediatric case caring for a 16-year-old client with a tracheostomy and ventilator. This position is part-time, requiring care for the client 2 nights a week. The opportunity is perfect for a nurse who values connection, consistency, and the chance to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in a warm and supportive home setting.

Requirements

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (Florida)
• Experience with tracheostomy care
• Experience with ventilator management
• Pediatric or home health experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years
• Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience including any specialty areas
• In compliance with state and Federal regulations
• CPR certification
• Valid AHCA/ level two background screening
• TB test showing a negative result

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
• Perform tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Monitor and document the patient’s health status
• Collaborate with family and clinical team to ensure quality care
