About The Position
A skilled nursing facility in Orange, NJ is seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation setting. This role is ideal for an RN who understands skilled nursing workflows and can manage resident care in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- 1–2+ years of RN experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
- Knowledge of SNF documentation and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of RN experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Complete nursing documentation in compliance with facility policy and regulatory standards
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs as assigned
- Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary rounds
- Respond to resident needs, incidents, and clinical concerns appropriately
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
