Skilled Nursing LPN
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated LPN to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. Our CARF-accredited skilled nursing facility proudly features 50 private rooms and a focus on person-centered care. LPN position details: Our LPN shift schedule is as follows: days (7am - 3pm), evenings (3pm - 11pm), and nights (11pm - 7am). We are hiring for the following job statuses: Full Time (5 days/week), Regular Part Time (3 days/week), Part Time (2 days/week), and Part Time Every Other Weekend (1 day/week). Please note that a recruitment and retention bonus of $2,500 is available for Regular Part Time positions. Please note that all Full Time positions are eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $10,000. All Regular Part Time positions are eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus of $2,500.
Requirements
- Must have credentials as an LPN with a current New York State license.
- Must be CPR and first aid certified.
- Must have verbal and written English skills.
Responsibilities
- Review resident care needs and physician’s orders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, including quarterly reviews, as they relate to care.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications as per procedure.
- Assure accuracy of medication and treatment book.
- Collect data and report resident concerns for follow-through.
- Ensure that all care notes are informative and descriptive of the care provided and of the resident’s response to the care.
- Ensure appropriateness and completeness of documentation by CNA staff.
- Conduct regular walking rounds of nursing unit.
