About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator - 2nd Shift to join our team in Luck, Wisconsin. In this role, you will set-up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned moulder machine(s) in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and qualifications.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent; course work in machine tool technology or a related area preferred.
At least 1 year of applicable experience operating woodworking equipment, machine programming or set-up.
Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
Manual finger dexterity skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met.
Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
