About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator II – Night Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you will set-up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned machine(s) in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and qualifications. These machines include moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud, CNC, or tenoners. The level for each machine operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education, required.
  • Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
  • Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
  • Monitors product to ensure that quality standards are being met.
  • Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
  • Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position.
  • Ability to train others as requested.
  • Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
