About The Position

Under the direction of the Project Foreman (or his/her designee) perform general labor on construction sites to include material handling, specialty trades support, operating tools and light equipment . Successful candidate will be reliable, experienced in working around construction sites, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment in a safe and productive manner.

Requirements

• Prior experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of job construction site safety as well as the ability to complete a company specific online safety orientation
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Follow safety regulations and company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions
• Valid Alaska driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Site preparation including clearing and preparing the area for construction
• Perform setup at the job site.
• Assist with demolition and removal of buildings, equipment, and debris
• Perform daily cleanup including removing debris and unused materials
• Material handling including loading, unloading and moving supplies
• Operating hand tools and power tools
• Provide support as needed for specialty trades
• Follow established safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Other duties as assigned
