About The Position

As a Skilled Labor with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you will support Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry Subcontractors on commercial projects in the Sarasota, FL area. Requirements

• Current/active trades license
• Certification or a willingness to obtain it
• Ability to perform required skills for the job
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the trade field
• Prior experience using relevant equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist with carrying and staging material throughout the project.
• Measure and accurately cut material such as wood, pipes, etc., for the trades workers you are assisting.
• Assist with installing hangers and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment to include trash removal, sweeping, and organizing tools and materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
