About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to join our commercial and residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a broad skill set across multiple trades. Work includes new construction, renovations, and repairs on both residential and commercial projects.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry and general construction
- Ability to work across multiple trades with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods
- Basic understanding of building codes and job site safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience in both commercial and residential construction
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to lead helpers or apprentices
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work
- Assist with and perform tasks across multiple trades, including drywall, painting, flooring, concrete, and minor electrical or plumbing (as permitted)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Frame walls, floors, and roofs
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and hardware
- Demolition, site prep, and material handling
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Work with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule
