What we’re looking for: Toyota Mississippi is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Skilled Maintenance Group Leader. The primary responsibility of this role is to Manage daily operations and maintain morale at the group level. The person in this role will support Toyota Mississippi maintenance department's objectives to meet Company KPIs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of visual management of key point indicators, such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems (word, excel, power point)
  • Experience with preparing/delivering presentations
  • Experience in coaching/ developing others and relationship building
  • Ability to rotate shifts
  • Overtime flexibility based on business need
  • (Min of 1) + years as a TMMMS Team Leader

Responsibilities

  • Manpower tracking/time entry
  • Manage floor activities while maintaining team member morale and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage, track, countermeasure Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to Safety, Environmental, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Projects, People Development
  • Train Team Leaders through On-the-Job Development
  • Utilize Toyota Business Practices to solve problems with root cause analysis with development and implementation of countermeasures
  • Through reflection and confirmation to ensure sustainment of continuous improvement
  • Manage Operating Budget for Repair Parts and Refurbishment of Equipment
