About The Position

We are seeking a Skilled Finisher to join our team. The Finisher will be responsible for completing final touches on metal parts using various handheld tools and techniques to ensure high-quality finished products.

Requirements

Attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Proficiency in metal finishing processes and techniques
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with handheld power tools
Experience with quality control and inspection of products

Responsibilities

Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
Utilize equipment such as sanders, grinders, and various handheld power tools including buffers to complete finishing of product.
Fabricate and assemble components to meet specifications
Repair and maintain equipment, objects, or parts using hand tools.
Buff, contoured, and irregular surfaces to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications.
Select abrasives, according to size, and shapes of workpieces, finishes specified, and steps in finishing processes
Perform mechanical tasks such as programming and using micrometers for accurate measurements
Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
Verifies specifications using visual
Maintains a clean work environment and safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to meet production deadlines; follows routes and process time.
