A Bindery and Printing Operator is expected to have an advanced working knowledge of the printing process and the area-specific equipment and production techniques (pre-press, press, bindery, and/or warehouse). The primary function is to produce simple to complex products using the products, tools, and machines available. The specific area related to this classification is bindery. Essential Duties: Advanced operation of area-specific production equipment Production of products to established standards Maintaining quality standards at all times Following established procedures for time and cost reporting Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously Collect, maintain, and organize accurate job data from multiple sources Be able to work on an independent basis Accept training from supervisor and other lead operators on new equipment Meticulous attention to detail and ensuring quality control
